stink bugs

my roommates and i move into the upper unit of an old house

infested with stink bugs.

we didn’t see them at first

but soon they appear

on windows

between the splitting wooden baseboards

they crawl on the walls

from under the radiators.

i saw a video about how when your ex appears in your dreams

it’s because your subconscious is healing.

he didn’t make an appearance for years

but now, there he is

trapping me

torturing me

trying to find me.

soon i’ll move out of this house.

but this brain i’ll live in forever.
